Crew Camp
Crew Camp at the Island Lake Rowing Club is a unique outdoor camp experience designed to teach youth, 11 – 14 years of age, to row. Over the course of 5 days, campers, lead by qualified leaders, will have two rows each morning in single sculls or bigger crew boats to ensure they gain the knowledge and skills to be safe and confident on the water. Combining the mastery of skills and the fun of games maintains an engaging and enjoyable learning experience for all. Afternoons are spent on land with co-operative games and nature-based activities at our beautiful Island Lake Conservation Area location. No rowing experience is required.
Eligibility: Children ages 11-14, must be able to swim & tread water.
Fees: $250 ($225 - for a second week)
