Young Non-Competitive Program

ILRC will have a rowing program for high school age rowers who have some rowing experience (by having rowed in a school program at ILRC) and wish to continue rowing through the summer.  The goal of the program is to provide a fun rowing experience and to improve technical skills. Rowing will be in sweep and sculling boats, as available.

Coached rowing times will be three days per week and times will be determined shortly. There will also be additional rowing times for those rowers and crews who are considered suitable to row by themselves with only dockside supervision.

The program will begin mid June and include July and August and September.  The cost will be $175 in addition to the previously paid high school rowing fee and includes coaching and use of ILRC facilities, equipment and non competitive registration with RCA and Rowontario.

The coaches are Ken Norris, Jack Lacrooy and Aleks Lietz.  To register or obtain more information 1) contact Ken Norris at knorris@magma.ca or 519-941-0322 and 2) complete our registration form / waiver  and mail with your payment.
